The Mark 10 is my High Power Level 3 Certification Rocket. It's a 7.67" x 10' long rocket with 3 fins, a nose cone,
and a 98mm motor mount. Designed for two-stage recovery, the Mark 10 will deploy a small drogue parachute at apogee to
prevent the rocket from accelerating beyond a desired descent rate until it reaches 600 feet above the ground where it will
deploy the main parachute.
The airframe is made of 7.51" LOC precision tubing reinforced with one layer of 6 oz. fiberglass. Each tube coupler is
15" long and is reinforced with a LOC stiffy tube coupler and an internal layer of 6 oz fiberglass. To be compliant with
the new Tripoli Rocketry Association two completely independant recovery control systems are being used. The primary
altimeter is an Ozark Aerospace ARTS2 and is connected to the primary charges. The secondary altimeter is a PerfectFlite
Mini-Alt/WD and will fire the secondary charges its connected to two seconds after the ARTS2 is programmed to.
